eDiscovery conference to be held Sept. 26-27

ACEDS Detroit Chapter will hold the 4th Annual ACEDS Detroit Symposium/ACEDS Midwest eDiscovery Conference "To eDiscovery and Beyond" Sept. 26-27.

The Symposium is the ACEDS Midwest Regional Conference, which received support from ACEDS National, ACEDS Chicago and Twin Cities Chapters.

The program will kick off with a welcome cocktail reception on Thursday from 5:30-7 p.mm followed by a full day of education, networking and fun on Friday.

Check-in begins Friday at 7:30 a.m. and the conference concludes by 4:15 p..m.

Maura Grossman will present the keynote entitled, "Artificial Intelligence and the Law: Real Benefits and Challenges."

Scott Petz will deliver the opening remarks, and Mary Mack will deliver the closing remarks.

The panel topics are outlined below and some speakers include Hon. James Alexander, Hon. Joseph Brown, Shawnna Hoffman-Childress, Jennifer Coates, Christine Czuprynski, C.J. Dietzman, Hon. 1) Will TAR Become Mandatory?

2) In-House Panel on Hot Topics

3) Robots and the Law: A Practical Look at Artificial Intelligence in the Legal Field

4) Update on Data Privacy Laws - Nationally and Internationally

A 5 hour Certificate of Attendance will be available to attorneys for self-reporting CLE in states that have this requirement. Additionally, a 5 hour Certificate of Attendance will be provided for CEDS recertification for all ACEDS-certified attendees. Tickets are on sale now.
