Attorney assembles COVID-19 checklist for seniors and caregivers

After seven-plus months and with little end in sight to the pandemic, adults responsible for their elderly parents and other senior caretakers continue to do their best to protect the most-vulnerable as the threat and uncertainty looms.

Recognizing the need to provide tools to assist with the stress caused by the pandemic, Foster Swift attorney Amanda Martin has put together a 'COVID-19 Checklist for Caregivers of Seniors' that lists the recommended steps senior caretakers should take to prepare for possible COVID-19-related illnesses among those they care for should the worst happen including:

• What estate planning documents to have ready;

• What items to have on hand to help prevent and treat COVID-19;

• Keeping a written or digital list of current medications and conditions.

This free downloadable checklist is available on the Elder Law Blog page at mielderlawblog.com.
