Linda Orlans, CEO of eTitle Agency, Inc., and principal of Orlans Associates, PC, has been named Business Woman of the Year by the Winning Futures program, receiving one of three Sam Cupp Impact Awards during a February 9 ceremony at The Big Rock Reserve in Birmingham. Orlans was selected from a group of finalists in recognition of her business leadership and philanthropic efforts throughout the community.

“I am so honored to receive this award,” said Orlans, “I admire the work ethic and community spirit embodied by Sam Cupp and will continue to do my best to reflect these values in my life in hopes of positively impacting others.”

The Impact Award was created in tribute to Sam Cupp, founder of Winning Futures, which helps local youth through mentoring, goal setting, strategic planning, and scholarship programs. It is presented to those whose work and personal lives reflect the values held by Cupp.

An attorney and entrepreneur, Orlans heads a successful enterprise of companies with more than 700 employees across several states.

Orlans serves on the board of directors at the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Inforum Center for Leadership, and Beaumont Hospital’s First Words Society, where she is also the founder. She contributes to the advisory boards of Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan and Beyond Basics; and, serves on the board of trustees and on several committees at Michigan State University College of Law.
