Ackerman Ackerman & Dynkowski (Ackerman), a condemnation and eminent domain law firm exclusively representing landowners, announced today that partner Darius Dynkowski will serve as program co-chair of the upcoming conference “Eminent Domain: Current and Emerging Issues for Litigators,” presented by Continuing Legal Education International (CLE). Managing Partner Alan Ackerman made the announcement.
The conference will take place in Las Vegas from Sept. 29 through Sept. 30. As program co-chair, Dynkowski will perform opening speeches on both days of the conference, and will participate in a panel of expert eminent domain attorneys to discuss practical advice on litigation strategy and trial tactics. Topics will include partial takings, just compensation, exactions, attorney fees, municipal takings of private water companies and special purpose properties.
“I’m happy to be returning as a CLE International eminent domain expert to co-chair this highly focused conference,” says Dynkowski. “There is no shortage of complication in the practice of eminent domain law, and I’m fortunate to be able to use my personal experiences and lessons learned to help other lawyers and business professionals navigate this particular practice area.”CLE International has been a provider of continuing professional education programs throughout the United States and Canada since 1983. Its seminars, which focus on the cutting edge of emerging legal issues of vital importance to attorneys and their clients, real estate professionals, accountants, consultants and government agencies, have received wide acclaim from bench and bar for the high quality of its faculty (all of whom are recognized experts in their fields of specialty) and its efficient organization of detailed and useful information.
Darius has been avidly defending landowners throughout the country since 1996. In addition to his work with CLE International, Darius serves as the representative for the Owners’ Counsel of America and is an adjunct professor for the Michigan State University College of Law. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree from Wayne State University, and received his juris doctor from Michigan State University. For more information, please visit www.ackerman-ackerman.com.
