Deadline is April 1 for comments about court records rule changes

The Michigan Supreme Court published rule changes on Dec. 21, 2011, which, among other things, would govern the definition of what constitutes a “court record.” The rules can be found at http://courts.michigan.gov/supremecourt/Resources/Administrative/2006-47_2011-12-21_order.pdf.

Directions for commenting are in the order, but they are repeated here:

Box 30052, Lansing, MI 48909, or  MSC_clerk@courts.mi.gov.  When filing a comment, please refer to ADM File No.  2006-47.  Your comments and the comments of others will be posted at  www.courts.mi.gov/supremecourt/resources/administrative/index.htm.
