Foster Swift elects shareholders

The law firm of Foster Swift Collins and Smith, PC is please to announce the election of three new shareholders: attorneys Alexander Ayar, John Inhulsen and David Russell.

Alex Ayar is currently a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group works in the firm’s Farmington Hills office. He focuses his law practice in the areas of commercial litigation, construction litigation, real property litigation, municipal litigation and corporate law. Alex is the President of the Chaldean American Bar Association, as well as a member of the Federal Bar Association, the Oakland County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Alex earned his undergraduate degree from Oakland University, graduating with honors, and received his juris doctorate from Wayne State University Law School.

John Inhulsen practices in the firm’s Grand Rapids office. He is a member of the Commercial Litigation practice group and his practice includes representing clients in business litigation, real estate litigation, construction litigation, noncompete litigation, insurance litigation, and criminal defense matters. He is very active in the community, including serving on the March of Dimes Board of Directors, Broadway Grand Rapids Board of Directors and the MSU Alumni Club of West Michigan Board of Directors. Inhulsen completed his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University and received his juris doctorate from Michigan State College of Law.

Working in the Lansing office, David Russell is currently a member of the firm’s Trusts and Estates practice group, focusing in the areas of wealth preservation, business law, real estate law, entertainment law, probate and estate administration, and related litigation in these areas. In the community, he serves on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Lansing, the Blood Services Committee for the Lansing Chapter of the American Red Cross and teaches classes at Northwood University. Russell received his undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University and his law degree from Michigan State University College of Law.
