Varnum attorneys receive “Lawyer of the Year” recognition

A total of eight Varnum attorneys have been recognized ads “Lawyer of the Year” in their respective areas of practice in the 2014 edition of The Best Lawyers in America®.

According to Best Lawyers®: “Lawyers being honored as ‘Lawyer of the Year’ are selected based on particularly impressive voting averages received during the exhaustive peer-review assessments we conduct with thousands of leading lawyers each year. Receiving this designation reflects the high level of respect a lawyer has earned among other leading lawyers in the same communities and the same practice areas for their abilities, their professionalism, and their integrity.”

Grand Rapids Varnum attorneys who have been recognized by their peers as "Lawyer of the Year" for 2014 are: Timothy J. Curtin, Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law; Randall W. Kraker, Land Use and Zoning Law; Thomas G. Kyros Litigation – Trusts and Estates; Daniel C. Molhoek, International Trade and Finance Law; Elizabeth Wells Skaggs, Litigation – Labor & Employment.

In addition, a total of 61 Varnum attorneys selected by their peers for inclusion in the 2014 edition of The Best Lawyers in America®. Attorneys from each of Varnum's five offices across Michigan were selected to the list.
