Rodney D. Martin appointed to Inforum Diversity Committee

Rodney D. Martin, the Diversity Partner with the law firm Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, has been appointed to Inforum’s DiversityNEXT Steering Committee.

Martin will serve a twoyear term on the committee, which is dedicated to building inclusive work environments by serving as a resource to Michigan companies. Not only does DiversityNEXT provide access to industry leaders, it works to share best practices and research to advance gender diversity and overall inclusion initiatives.

Inforum is the leading professional organization focused on creating strategic connections and accelerating careers for women throughout Michigan and the Midwest. Female partners of Warner Norcross were among the founding members of Inforum’s West Michigan region and continue to serve in leadership roles with the organization.

Martin concentrates his practice on financial institutions, with an emphasis on bank regulatory issues, fair lending, financial privacy and related matters. He chairs the firm’s Financial Services Practice Group.

Martin serves on the Inclusion Advisory Council of the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce and on the advisory board of BL2END. He co-chairs the Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee of the State Bar of Michigan. He also serves as facilitator for the Managing Partners Diversity Collaborative, which is an initiative of the Grand Rapids Bar Association (GRBA).


GRBA gave Martin its 2012 President’s Award in recognition of his special contributions in service to the board of trustees, executive committee and executive director. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America
and as a Leader in the Law by Michigan Lawyers Weekly.

Martin is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and Grand Rapids Bar Association.
