Miller Johnson welcomes Henn and welcomes back Quist

Miller Johnson is pleased to welcome Gerald E. (JJ) Henn II as an Associate in the business section.

Henn will split his time between the Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids office.  He will be working primarily with the mergers and acquisitions practice group and the real estate group.  Prior to joining Miller Johnson, he was with another law firm in Kalamazoo.

Henn earned his J.D. from Cleveland Marshall College of Law.  He received a B.S. from Case Western Reserve University and studied for a summer at the J.W. Goethe Universitaet in Frankfort, Germany.  He is licensed to practice in both Ohio and Michigan.

Miller Johnson also welcomes back  Stephanie J. Quist as an Associate in the Grand Rapids office. She served as an Associate at Miller Johnson from 2010-2012 before opting for three years to be at home full-time with her young family.

 Quist is continuing her practice in employment and labor.  She is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan and U. S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

She earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School where she was a senior editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy. She earned her B.A. magna cum laude from Wheaton College. 

She came to Grand Rapids in 2010 from Columbus, Ohio where she was an associate at Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP.  Prior to attending Harvard Law, Quist served at the White House as Special Assistant to the Vice President for Domestic Policy, where she advised Vice President Cheney on education and other domestic policy issues.  She also served as Chief of Staff to Lynne Cheney.
