Warner Norcross rated tops in two industries in BTI Power Rankings

The law firm Warner Norcross and Judd LLP has been lauded for its client relationships in two industries, according to a wide-ranging survey from a leading professional services consulting group.

BTI Consulting Group named Warner Norcross to the Honor Roll of Core firms in manufacturing and energy in its just-released BTI Power Rankings: The Law Firms with the Best Client Relationships. BTI Consulting asked top legal decision-makers at companies worldwide to rank more than 500 law firms across 16 industries to see which firms the companies considered tops for the legal needs.

“We are pleased with this new recognition, particularly considering the comprehensive nature of the review,”” said Douglas A. Dozeman, managing partner. “Client service is the foundation for our firm and what drives our work every day. Rankings such as these confirm the extremely high value of the level of client service Warner provides, above and beyond simply the delivery of legal services. This is precisely why we are so committed to continually nurturing client relationships.”

The Resources, Energy and Environment Practice Group at Warner Norcross advises regulated and independent power producers and energy consumers on commercial and regulatory issues related to the development, deployment and operation of generation and transmission resources, as well as the consumption of energy.

At the heart of Warner Norcross’ work in manufacturing is the Automotive Practice Group. These 50 attorneys work on matters ranging from business litigation to labor and employment to bankruptcy actions for clients that include Fortune 500 corporations and smaller start-ups. Their expertise extends internationally, as they have represented the expansion of U.S. companies overseas as well as clients based in other countries wanting to do business in the United States.

The firm’s supplier and other manufacturing clients are supported by many practice groups, including the Economics Incentives Group, which has secured more than $1 billion in local, state and federal economic incentives to help businesses establish and grow in Michigan.

BTI has also rated Warner Norcross on lists acknowledging leaders in client service, technology and litigation.

Warner Norcross is a corporate law firm with 230 attorneys practicing in eight offices throughout Michigan:  Grand Rapids, Holland, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Macomb County, Midland, Muskegon and Southfield.
