Fowler selected as Up and Coming Lawyer

Attorney Bradley A. Fowler, an associate at the law firm of Grand Rapids-based Mika Meyers PLC, was selected as a member of the Michigan Lawyers Weekly 2016 Up and Coming Lawyers, given to attorneys who go above and beyond, and display ambition, drive, determination and accomplishments that set them apart from their peers. Many attorneys are nominated, but only 30 are selected for this award.

Fowler focuses his practice on public sector law and litigation.  He works with municipalities on zoning, land use, ordinance drafting, telecommunication right-of-way permits, contract, and election law matters.  He also performs enforcement work for municipal clients of the firm.  In his civil litigation practice, Brad’s experience encompasses a wide range of issues, including, contract disputes, shareholder disputes, unemployment and MIOSHA appeals, landlord tenant disputes and claims against government entities.

Fowler is a trustee for the Grand Rapids Bar Association.

Attorney Thomas Sinas recognized as a 2016 ‘Up and Coming Lawyer’

Grand Rapids personal injury attorney Thomas G. Sinas was named a 2016 “Up and Coming Lawyer” by Michigan Lawyers Weekly.

The designation is bestowed annually on Michigan attorneys who have been in practice for 10 years or less and who display “the ambition, drive, determination and accomplishments that make them worthy of the Up and Coming Lawyer title.”

Sinas is a partner at the Sinas Dramis Law Firm and manages the firm’s West Michigan office. He practices personal injury, auto negligence and auto no-fault litigation, and has lectured and written extensively on these topics.

“It is truly an honor to be recognized alongside other excellent lawyers from around the state,” Sinas said of the Up and Coming Lawyer honor. “I do my best each day to carry on the tradition of legal excellence that began when my grandfather founded our firm in 1951. And it’s humbling to be recognized by Michigan Lawyers Weekly with this award.”

Sinas serves on the Brain Injury Association of Michigan board  and, in 2016, received its “Prevention Award.” He co-founded the annual Grand Rapids “Lids for Kids” bike helmet giveaway/safety event, sponsored by Sinas Dramis.

In addition, Sinas is a trustee of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, a committee member of the Justice Foundation of West Michigan, and vice-president of the Grand Rapids Legal Assistance Center.

As part of his commitment to educating Michigan residents about their legal rights, Sinas partners with FOX 17 to present a weekly TV segment, “Know the Law.”
