Philip A. Grashoff, Jr. spends a significant amount of time in the Grand Rapids office, as well as the Bloomfield Hills office. He was recognized for both Environmental Law and Litigation – Environmental. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers for more than 25 years and serves as co-chair of the firm’s Environmental Law Practice Group. Additionally, he focuses his practice on Natural Resources and Mining Law, and  AgriBusiness/Agricultural Law.

Price Heneveld LLP names new management committee, appointing Brian R. Cheslek as chairman



Price Heneveld LLP is pleased to announce a new chairman of the firm’s Management Committee, Brian Cheslek.  Aaron Wong, a partner, and former chairman Kevin Grzelak will continue serving their terms as members of the management committee.

Cheslek received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Purdue University in 1999, and earned his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago.  He served as Editor-in-Chief of The John Marshall Review of Intellectual Property Law and was a contributing author to the Center for Intellectual Property Law News Source.  Cheslek is also a former chair of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the Grand Rapids Bar Association.

Prior to practicing law, Cheslek worked in software design and systems analysis, and gained engineering experience with construction products and waste management technologies.  He joined Price Heneveld in 2004 and centers his practice on procurement, licensing, and enforcement of patents, primarily in the mechanical, medical, and automotive technology areas. Brian advises a variety of clients including privately held multi-national corporations as well as Fortune 500 companies and has extensive experience managing large and complex intellectual property portfolios for large technology driven organizations.
