Partnership plans to advance legal education on artificial intelligence

The Association of American Law Schools (AALS) and West Academic, a
BARBRI company, announced a new multiyear strategic partnership aimed at
deepening the legal academy’s engagement with artificial intelligence
(AI). This collaboration, revealed during the 2026 AALS Annual Meeting
in New Orleans, will focus on three initiatives: a national webinar
series, developing online resources related to AI, and research on
faculty and student attitudes toward AI.

Glazebrook were elected by their colleagues to serve as members of the board of directors. Glazebrook was elected to his first two-year term, and Hall and Forbush were re-elected to two and three-year terms, respectively.

Butzel attorney Lee T. Silver to receive two prestigious legal industry awards
April 01, 2026Butzel attorney Lee T. Silver is being honored by the State Bar of Michigan Negligence Section and will receive the “Distinguished Mediator Award” on August 20 at the Annual Meeting and Award Reception. Silver also has been named to Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
