Polar Plunge raises $1,428 for Special Olympics

   Members of the Cooley Law School Mock Trial Board participated in the 2011 Polar Plunge Feb. 27, an annual event put on by the Law Enforcement Torch Run to raise money for Special Olympics Michigan. The proceeds from the Polar Plunge help support year-round sports training and athletic competition for more than 18,600 children and adults with intellectual disabilities in Michigan. The event raised $1,428.00.
   The participants from Cooley included Diem Chi Nguyen, Kelly Gilpatrick, Rachael Hayes, and Antonia Bortone; Back: Greg Roseto, Brian Olsen, Maricel Skiles, James Knapp, and Eric Sprott.
