Jim Jamo announces campaign for Ingham Circuit Court Judge
Jim Jamo announced he will campaign for the Ingham County Circuit Court Judge position in the November 2012 election. Jamo, a Lansing attorney for 27 years, is a respected litigator with diverse experience in the Circuit Court. He is admitted to practice before the State and Federal courts in Michigan, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Jamo serves as a Hearing Panel member for the Attorney Discipline Board, and is a Trained Mediator appointed by fellow attorneys and the Ingham County Courts to facilitate settlement of pending cases. He also volunteers with the Resolution Services Center of Central Michigan. Jamo is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, Ingham County Bar Association, Michigan Defense Trial Counsel, Michigan Association for Justice, and the Fellows of the Michigan State Bar Foundation. Peers in the legal profession have given Jamo the highest ratings for his skills and ethics for more than 20 years, through a professional peer review process.
Jim and his wife Liz reside in East Lansing and have two children, Cristina and Benjamin. "I look forward to the opportunity to continue the high standard of excellence and respect the public deserves, through my service on the Ingham County Circuit Court bench," said Jamo.
