Rutgers joins Varnum's Grand Rapids office

 Varnum recently announced that seasoned business attorney Robert C. Rutgers, Jr. has rejoined the firm’s Grand Rapids office. 

Most recently a shareholder at Rhoades McKee PC, he formerly practiced at Varnum for several years in the mid-1990s. Rutgers concentrates his practice in the areas of business, commercial litigation, health care and family law. 
Outside of his practice, Rutgers is a member of the Economics Club of Grand Rapids and a youth sports coach. He is a Fellow of the Justice Foundation of West Michigan, which serves the community through the funding of programs that promote or provide legal services to the disadvantaged.
 Rutgers received his law degree from the Marquette University Law School and holds a B.A. in Economics from Hope College.
