Staley joins Miller Canfield
Theresa A.G. Staley has joined Miller Canfield as a senior attorney in the Energy, Environmental and Regulatory Group in the Lansing office. She brings over 17 years of experience and knowledge with public utility, energy, and telecommunications matters.
Staley spent the past four years as an Administrative Law Judge for the State of Michigan conducting hearings involving contested cases before the Michigan Public Service Commission and Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. She specialized in administrative, energy, environmental, public utility, and telecommunications law. She also mediated disputes between utilities and customers. Prior to becoming a judge, she represented clients in private practice in a wide range of litigation matters, including in the area of oil and gas.
Staley received her J.D. (1997) from Detroit College of Law and her B.A. from Aquinas College.
