Deming to speak at NALS of Michigan conference

Attorney Stuart H. Deming will present a seminar at the NALS of Michigan legal conference on Saturday, Sept. 19. His seminar, "Implications of International Legal Conventions," will focus on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and child abductions.

A principal in Deming PLLC in Kalamazoo, Deming is a former chair of the International Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan and a leading expert on the FCPA. His firm has extensive experience handling major matters throughout the United States and abroad.

Deming earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School; and also earned his undergrad degree and MBA from U-M.

NALS of Michigan is partnering in this event with Michigan State University College of Law's International Law Review, and the College of Law's Career Services Office.

The conference will be held at the Radisson Hotel Lansing at the Capitol, 111 North Grand Avenue, Lansing. The summer board of directors meeting will follow lunch.

The cost for NALS members is $25 for the seminar, lunch, and board meeting; the cost for non-members is $35 for the seminar and lunch; the cost for students for the seminar and lunch is $10, seminar only, no cost.

There is no cost for attending the board of directors meeting; however, lunch is not provided.
