4 Loomis Law Firm attorneys named to 'Michigan Super Lawyers' and 2 named to 'Rising Stars'

Four attorneys from Loomis, Ewert, Parsley, Davis and Gotting P.C. in Lansing were named to 2016 "Michigan Super Lawyers": Catherine Jacobs, Estate and Probate; James Neal, Energy and Resources; Michael Rhodes, Energy and Resources; and Jeffrey Theuer, Business Litigation.

In addition, James F. Anderton and Sara Cunningham were named to 2016 "Michigan Rising Stars."

Jacobs advises clients on estate planning and trusts, probate litigation, adoption (adult and child) and child custody issues and transportation law.

Neal heads the firm's Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Law Department.

Rhodes, who joined Loomis in 1982, has over 25 years experience in oil, gas and energy law including contract and agreement negotiation and drafting, transactional matters, primarily involving the negotiation and drafting of purchase and sale agreements, financing, title opinions, title matters, and general legal matters.

Theuer, who previously practicied for a firm in Baltimore, Md., has extensive experience in complex litigation matters, with particular expertise in energy, construction, and business law.
