DeVries-Burd, Wickman join the Nichols Law Firm

Colline L. DeVries-Burd joined the Nichols Law Firm in an Of Counsel capacity, effective Dec. 21, 2018. She will focus her practice on Family Law Cases with substantial assets, custody and general civil litigation matters.

DeVries-Burd is a member of the National Association for Career Women; the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan; and the Young Lawyers Section and Family Law Section of the Ingham County Bar Association.

A volunteer for Red Cross and the Capital City Humane Society, she also volunteers each fall and winter month educating women in a public workshop called “Second Saturday,” where she presents educational information and answers questions.

Christopher B. Wickman joined the Nichols Law Firm last September as a trial lawyer, focusing his practice on criminal defense and driver license matters.

He is a graduate of the Temple University Beasley School of Law and the Michigan State University Constitutional Democracy and Political Theory Program at James Madison College.

Wickman is currently a co-chair of the Ingham County Criminal Defense Law Section, which has the mission of sharing knowledge related to emerging and important topics specific to criminal defense.

He is also a Director of the Ingham County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section. is a Past-President of the YLS and served as educational programs chairperson for a number of years as well as serving on the Ingham County Bar’s Bench-Bar Committees. He currently serves as a Councilman for the State Bar of Michigan Young Lawyers Section.
