The Business Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan is holding its Business Boot Camp Nov. 4-5 at Amway Grand Plaza in Grand Rapids and Jan. 30-31, 2020 in Plymouth for new business lawyers.
Headlined by Jeffrey Ammon from Miller Johnson, Timothy Damschroder from Bodman PLC and Daniel Minkus from Clark Hill PLC, Business Boot Camp will help lawyers develop confidence, attract clients and impress partners, as well as network with trainers and attendees.
Forms and materials will be available on such topics as: Choice of Entity, Forming an LLC Including Operating Agreements, Shareholder Buy/Sell and Voting Agreement, Commercial Loan Transactions, Business Valuations and Appraisals, Personal Property/Article 9/Creditors Rights, Supply Agreements and Insurance and Coverage Issues.
Tickets are $220 for lawyers and $80 for law students. Discounts are available with early registration.
Business Boot Camp II will be held November 2020 in Grand Rapids and January 2021 in Plymouth.
