Lansing attorney shares insights on: What to Do When You Screw Up?

 Attorney Frank Reynolds, recently spoke on a topic some lawyers shy away from, handling mistakes while practicing law, during Cooley Law School’s Center for Ethics, Service, and Professionalisms Integrity in Our Communities speaker series on Wednesday, June 4, at Cooley Law School’s at its Lansing campus. 

Reynolds’s presentation, “What to Do When You Screw Up,” shed light on what great lawyers do when they encounter a mistake, pointing out that no matter how many precautions you take, most lawyers will find themselves in a situation where they must identify and correct a mistake at some point in their careers
 “It is important to share these insights with students early on because that is when the mistakes usually happen,” said Heather Spielmaker, director of the Center for Ethics, Service, and Professionalism. “By sharing our experiences and miss-steps we are able to guide a new generation to learn from our mistakes.”
Reynolds’ practice focuses on State and Federal criminal defense, family law and professional licensing. He has presented and lectured across Michigan to educational, charitable, and professional legal organizations.
