Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

The Jackson Fraternal Order of Police hosted a pancake breakfast on April 9 at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church in Jackson as a fundraiser for the Bonneau Memorial Child Advocacy Fund. The event, which included a silent auction and 50/50 raffle, was in honor of Officer James Bonneau, killed in the line of duty on March 9, 2010, at the age of 26, and posthumously awarded the Law Enforcement Congressional Badge of Bravery. A local bridge and post office are named after Bonneau, the first Jackson officer killed in the line of duty since 1978. (l-r) Jackson Police Department Cadet Kellsie Baker, and Officers Andy Mosier, Michael Kruso and Patrick Rose served food.
