Jackson City Manager Patrick Burtch, pictured with Jackson District Library Director Sara Tackett, gave an update on downtown development at a May 18 Community Forum held at the library. Burtch discussed new buildings, how the city is helping businesses, streamlining city government, housing stock and current challenges. The forum was co-sponsored by the library, the League of Women Voters, and the Unitarian Universalist Church of East Liberty.
