The Polish American Legal Society (PALS) recently hosted a general meeting at the Polish Village Café in Hamtramck. Among those enjoying the evening were (seated, left to right) Michael Jones, court officer and guest speaker; retired Judge Richard Wygonik, PALS president; and Victor Lotycz, court officer and guest speker; joined by (standing, left to right) Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Jim Chylinski; Sterling Heights attorney Karl Hamel; William Jurczak of The Law Office of William Jurczak; Ryan Hill of Detroit Legal Group PLLC; Grosse Pointe Park attorney Paul Tylenda; Kinga Gorzelewski of the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office; Doug Hamel of Douglas Hamel PC; and Berkley attorney Michael Dean. “We’re proud to have our guest speakers here to talk to the lawyers about how to turn their paper judgments into real money and other problems involving making the law work in the streets as well as in the courtroom,” Wygonik said.
