Warm welcome extended to new judge

The Macomb County Probate Bar Association recently held its 2017 Spring Seminar, an event thar provided an opportunity for members to get to know the new judge on the Probate Court bench. Judge Sandra Harrison-Suratt (second from left) delivered a short address prior to the scheduled presentation at the Clinton-Macomb Public Library in Clinton Township. Among those on hand to greet Harrison were (from left) Wayne Wilson, MCPBA president; Robert Szalka, Macomb County Probate Court director of legal services; Probate Court Judge Kathryn George; Keith Cermak, MCPBA treasurer; Len Reinowski, MCPBA director; and Alan Polack. Harrison was appointed to the bench by Gov. Rick Snyder in April to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Carl Marlinga, who was elected last November to a six-year term on the Macomb County Circuit Court bench.
