Bar associations honor their leaders

The Wolverine Bar Association, the Association of Black Judges of Michigan (ABJM) and the D. Augustus Straker Bar Association co-hosted their Annual Presidents’ Dinner on July 9 at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit. The keynote speaker for the dinner was National Bar Association President Joseph Drayton (far left).  The event recognized the past year’s efforts of the associations’ presidents and welcomed the incoming leaders which include (left to right) Straker President Kimberley Ann Ward of Terumo Cardiovascular Systems Corp., ABJM President Wayne County Probate Court Judge David Braxton and Wolverine President Terrence Reeves of Pepper Hamilton LLP.
