Drug Recognition experts were the featured speakers at a recent seminar presented by the Macomb County Bar Association and the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan. The event at which Anthony Palacios (left) and William Maze shared their expertise was held at Macomb Community College in Clinton Township and was the latest in a series of seminars jointly sponsored this year by the two groups. Maze has been qualified by numerous Michigan courts as an expert witness in the standardized field sobriety test battery (SFSTs) and Michigan Datamaster breath testing procedures. Palacios is the CEO of Impaired Driving Specialists LLC as well as the Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST) and Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) consultant for the firm.
