Chief justice honored at holiday celebration


The Michigan Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA-MI) hosted its 31st Holiday Gathering and Annual Meeting on Dec. 5, at the Detroit Golf Club. Among those sporting their formal wear at the event were (left to right) Jim Tamm of O’Connor, DeGrazia, Tamm, & O’Connor PC; Bob Darling of Robert H. Darling PC; ABOTA-MI Secretary Judy Susskind of Sommers Schwartz PC; ABOTA-MI President Tom Wuan of Johnson Law PLC; Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice Bridget M. Mc?Cormack who was presented with the ABOTA Lifetime Judicial Achievement Award; ABOTA-MI Treasurer Tom Behm of Gruel, Mills, Nims, & Pylman LLP; ABOTA Civility Award winners Linda and Steve Galbraith of Law Offices of Steven B. Galbraith PC; and ABOTA-MI President Elect Bob Riley of Riley & Hurley PC. Also during the event, ABOTA accepted donations to the Old Newsboys’ Goodfellow Fund.
