Detroit Mercy Laws' International Intellectual Property Law Clinic welcomes new director

University of Detroit Mercy School of Law is welcoming David C. Berry as Assistant Professor and Director of the International Intellectual Property Law Clinic.

Berry is an intellectual property law practitioner and scholar who brings over 20 years of practice experience and 18 years of teaching experience to the faculty at Detroit Mercy Law.

Berry will supervise students who advise low-income inventors on how to best protect their ideas.

Clinic clients are selected based on financial eligibility, clinic resources, and the potential educational opportunity of the prospective client matter.

The clinic is now accepting new client applications.
