    With an interest in history and business, Jameel Amer earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees in political science from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario — studies he said allowed him to focus on both these areas while also looking closely at human nature and what motivates people, and countries at large, to operate in the way that they do.
    Wanting an intellectually stimulating career, he then set his sights on earning a law degree.
