Flashlight Scavenger Hunt set April 3

Bridge Bible Church North, 3777 Holton Rd., (corner of M-120 and Bard Road), will host a flashlight scavenger hunt 5 to 8:30 p.m., Saturday, April 3.

Put on detective caps and join in this fun twist on an Easter Egg scavenger hunt. Kids will sign up in teams of 4 to become kid-tectives. Your mission is to search the field for eggs with clues. Find all 10 clues to solve the case! This event is for Kindergarten through 6th grade. Sign up at https://signup.com/go/wcPvaN.


Basics of Landscape Drawing

Join Corinne Roberts online at the Muskegon Area District Library, and learn basic techniques of composition, perspective, and value to start creating your own landscapes.

The event, set for 7 p.m., Thursday, April 8, is intended for adults but everyone is welcome. No prior drawing experience is needed. All you need is paper, a pencil, and an eraser. Registration required on the madl.org calendar.

A Zoom link will be emailed  before the program.


Spring Chick Succulent Planter

Craft kits for this free teen take and make craft will be available while supplies last, to pick up from Hackley Public Library, located at the corner of 3rd and Webster.

An instructional video will be posted to HPL's Facebook page at 3 p.m. April 5 and 3 p.m.. April 19. Decorate your spring chick pot and top it off with your very own succulent.
