Warner partner Bruce C. Young selected for Hall of Fame

Warner Norcross + Judd LLP partner Bruce C. Young has been selected for Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s 2022 Hall of Fame. He will be honored during an April 8 awards luncheon and will be profiled in the publication’s Hall of Fame insert.

Young has served as an advisor to family businesses and family offices for nearly 40 years.

He has concentrated his practice on the representation of family-owned businesses and their owners in transition of ownership and management to future generations, professional management or third-party purchasers, as well as representation of large and small businesses on corporate governance, commercial and transitional matters. He also has extensive experience with third-party legal opinions for secured and unsecured financings, mergers and acquisitions and securities transactions, among others.

Young serves on the board and as secretary of the Family Business Alliance, on the boards for the Michigan Crossroads Council and President Ford Field Service Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He is a member of the Economic Club of Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce and Working Group on Legal Opinions. Young is also a member of the Grand Rapids Rotary Club, where he serves as a mentor to high school students.

A member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and Grand Rapids Bar Association, Young is recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America©, which awarded him “Lawyer of the Year” on multiple occasions.

He was honored by Senior Neighbors in 2020 as one of its 16 Over 60 honorees.

Young holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Michigan magna cum laude, an MBA from Cornell University cum laude and a law degree from the Cornell Law School.
