Community activists and educators Joseph and Yvonne Dulin received the Dispute Resolution Center's Bernard J. O'Connor Award during a special celebration last week at the Michigan Theater. Joe Dulin was the long-time principal of the Roberto Clemente Center in Ypsilanti. He is now retired. The event featured the showing of "Bridging the Gap: The Joe Dulin Story," a film about Dulin¹s life with an emphasis on his work at the Roberto Clemente Center. Richard Leyshock of the Washtenaw Intermediate School District presented the O'Connor award to the Dulins while grandson Chucky watched. Legal News photo by Frank Weir.
