ACLU's Racial Justice Project attorney to speak at Bias Awareness dinner

The WCBA's 20th Annual Bias Awareness and Inclusion Week will include a luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 18, co-sponsored by the WCBA and the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, Washtenaw Region (WLAM). On Wednesday, Oct. 19, the Twelfth Annual Enhancement of Police and Community Trust (ENPACT) Public Forum will be held at the Learning Resource Center on Hogback Road in Ann Arbor from noon to 2:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided. On Thursday, Oct. 20, the WCBA and the Vanzetti Hamilton Bar Association will co-sponsor the 20th Annual Bias Awareness and Inclusion Dinner. The joint dinner meeting will be held at Weber's Inn from 5;30 p.m. to the close of the event. Dinner is scheduled fro 6:30 p.m. Featured speaker is Mark Fancher, attorney for the Racial Justice Project of the ACLU of Michigan. The WCBA's Martin Luther King, Jr., "I Have A Dream" Award will be presented to Washtenaw County Sheriff Jerry Clayton.
