Circuit Court Judge Patrick J. Conlin, Jr. was sworn in Dec. 22 as a Judge of the Washtenaw County Trial Court in downtown Ann Arbor, by his father, the Hon. Patrick J. Conlin (retired). The Rev. Rodrick K. Green gave the invocation, and special guest speakers were attorney Thomas O’Brien, and Rep. David Rutledge. Investitures were also held Dec. 18 in the Charter Township of Ypsilanti boardroom, presided over by the Hon. Charles Pope, with an invocation by pastor Victoria James and with Township Supervisor Brenda Stumbo, and Ypsilanti Pro-Tem Mayor Lois Richardson as guest speakers; and at the 14A-3 District Courthouse Chelsea presided over by his uncle, 14A District Court Chief Judge Richard Conlin; Rev. William Turner from St. Mary Church in Chelsea gave an invocation, and former Chelsea Mayor Ann Feeney and attorney Peter Flintoft, were guest speakers.
