Sujek joins Honigman's trademark practice

Angela Sujek, who has more than 15 years of experience as an intellectual property attorney, has joined Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP as a partner in the firm’s Trademark and Copyright practice group.

She joins Honigman from the Ann Arbor office of Bodman PLC.

“Our quickly growing practice serves numerous well-known and famous brands, both nationally and internationally,” said Jonathan O’Brien, chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Department.  “Angela is a tremendous addition to our seasoned team of trademark and copyright attorneys, whose experience on both the transactional and counseling side will give us even greater depth in that area.”

A graduate of the University of Michigan and the University of Toledo College of Law, Sujek counsels clients on their global trademark and copyright strategies, including clearance, registration and maintenance. She also assists clients with the enforcement and defense of intellectual property rights.

She represents clients before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and in state and federal courts, as well as in inter partes proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Admitted to practice in Michigan, she was recognized by DBusiness in 2014 as a top trademark attorney.
