University of Michigan Law School students Helen Marie Berg and Adam Kleven won the Detroit Bar Association's Legal Scholar Writing Contest. Their paper, written for the Detroit Litigation Advocacy Workshop, focused on how the city of Detroit can use nuisance suits to sue institutions and other entities for damages for "investing and neglecting" property in Detroit.
