The State Bar of Michigan's Social Security Section will hosts its Fall Seminar and Annual Meeting at the Boyne Mountain Resort on Sunday through Tuesday, September 12-14, in Boyne Falls.
In addition to the opportunity to hear leading national experts speak about virtually all aspects of how to best represent Social Security clients, there will be presentations about beginning a case, questioning vocational experts, writing successful appeals, dealing with LTD claims and special needs trusts, among others. There will also be a U of M doctor teaching attendees about rheumatology. This seminar will be comparable to a national NOSSCR seminar. Sunday will feature a social time including a wine tour, golf, or the spa at Boyne (on one's own), and a Sunday night reception.
Cost is $100, which will include two breakfasts and lunches. Space is limited. Registrants also need to book a hotel room on their own. To register, visit https://connect.michbar.org/socsecurity/home and click on "events."
Those who want to attend the Annual Meeting only should contact Jim Rinck at: jrrinck@jrrinck.com.
