The Jackson Police Department and Jackson College hosted “Strengthening the Bridge,” a discussion about the relationship between the criminal justice system and the African-American community, on Oct. 20, at St. John’s United Church in Jackson. The event included a panel on community leadership and criminal justice, and a community panel with local citizens.
