The Jackson Symphony announces “Made in Michigan,” 8 p.m. on Feb. 26th at 8:00 p.m. at JacksonSymphony.org, Facebook and YouTube.
The concert will feature composers with local relationships to Michigan: University of Michigan alum Clarice Assad, JSO composer-in-residence Jonathan Bruce Brown, JSO-commissioned composer and cellist with the Detroit Symphony
Orchestra Jeremy Crosmer, Sphinx alum Jessie Montgomery, and Marcus Norris, JHS alum, JSO-commissioned composer, and doctoral student at UCLA.
Maestro Matthew Aubin and select musicians will chat with viewers during the presentation.
The JSO will create supplemental educational materials so this program can be presented in an interactive, virtual format to school groups. Message JSO for details.
