The Jackson Police Department participated in last Saturday’s Michigan Law Enforcement Polar Plunge, jumping into Clark Lake and raising $4,973 for charity as well as receiving an award for ‘Most Money Raised by a Law Enforcement Team.’ According to organizers, the event raised $43,200 for Special Olympics Michigan, surpassing the goal of $35,000.
