The 50th Anniversary of the Birthline Pregnancy and Parenting Center of Jackson, 1000 E. Porter St., was celebrated with a Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting event on Oct. 12. The center offers BrightCourse parenting lessons from first trimester pregnancy to three years old (formerly Learn to Earn), to earn money to buy items from the Blessing Store such as clothes, formula, diapers, car seats and baby furniture.
