Jackson Area Transportation Authority offers free bus rides to cooling centers in Heat Emergencies

The Jackson Area Transportation Authority will offer residents free bus rides to cooling centers during Heat Emergencies (90° or higher).

Free "Hot Tickets" have been provided to participating area agencies to distribute to residents whose health would be at risk. Tickets can only be used to travel to these cooling centers:

Department on Aging:
