Ribbon Cutting
The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting at SOAR Cafe & Farms on September 11, at the new location at 401 N. Mechanic, Jackson. SOAR—an acronym for “She Overcomes and Rises” —provides a free two-year residential program for women survivors of human trafficking, sexual trauma, and addiction. The café serves breakfast, lunch and has a gift shop.
