Honigman LLP added four attorneys to Honigman Law Israel (HLI): Oron Eli from Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP; Joshua Gottesman from Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP; Amit Roitman from Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP; and Mayer Stein from Simpson Thacher. Honigman also launched its Investment Funds practice.

Gottesman will join HLI as a founding partner—alongside Israel-based partner Sam Katz—of Honigman’s Investment Funds practice. Gottesman brings to Honigman eight years of fund formation experience from Simpson Thacher. Stein also joins from Simpson Thacher's funds group. Eli, who joins Honigman’s Private Equity group, focuses on private equity investments and mergers and acquisitions. Roitman specializes in insurance recovery and complex coverage disputes through litigation.
