DETROIT (AP) -- President Barack Obama has nominated a longtime Detroit federal prosecutor for a U.S. District Court judgeship.
Obama announced the nomination of Terrence Berg to the Detroit-based court on Wednesday, calling him a "distinguished public servant."
The nomination requires U.S. Senate confirmation.
