Foley & Lardner LLP hosted a Women’s Network Reception and Charity Event benefitting Alternatives for Girls (AFG) on Thursday, Oct. 11, at Gemmayze in Royal Oak.
“Every year we have a networking event that we do with our women clients and friends of the firm,” said Brandi Walkowiak (right), senior counsel and chair of Foley’s national Women’s Network.
This year’s event was a silent auction to benefit AFG which is celebrating 25 years of empowering homeless and at-risk girls and young women, noted Lindsey MacDonald (left), fund development manager for AFG.
The silent auction featured a mix of business and pleasure: services of Foley attorneys, tickets to entertainment venues, spa packages, jewelry, and media training from Franco Public Relations.
