Labor and Employment Section plans Mid-Winter Meeting for January
The annual Mid-Winter Meeting of the Labor and Employment Section of the State Bar of Michigan will be conducted on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 25-26, at the Detroit Athletic Club.
Friday evening will feature cocktails, dinner, and a presentation from author and Ohio State Professor Kevin Boyle who returns to discuss his research and upcoming book about Sacco and Vanzetti. The Distinguished Service Award will be presented to Joseph A. Golden.
The Saturday morning program will include labor and employment law updates, a presentation by EEOC Commissioner Victoria A. Lipnic about the EEOC's new Strategic Enforcement Plan, and a moderated panel discussion.
