Workers' Compensation, Social Security Seminar offered by MAJ, Jan. 18
The Michigan Association for Justice will host a Workers' Compensation/Social Security seminar in mid-January. The program will feature two nationally recognized legislative reform and advocacy experts: Richard J. Swanson of Macey, Swanson, & Allman in Indianapolis and Henry Patterson of Patterson Harkavy LLP in Chapel Hill, NC.
The seminar will take place Friday, Jan. 18, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Westin Hotel, 1500 Town Center in Southfield.
Lisa Welton of Law Offices of Lisa A. Welton, Jeff Appel of Law Offices of Jefferey S. Appel, and Robert MacDonald of MacDonald, FitzGerald, and MacDonald PC will all co-moderate the event.
The topics will include: an update from the WC Agency, issue updates on topics from proving disability to agency form compliance, and legislative updates about changes that have taken place over the past year.
